if aiding spoolup is your primary concern and engine bay heat a close second. I used High Performance Coating's "hipermax extreme" thermal barrier coating on the outside of my MS manifolds to retain the heat inside them. It wasnt cheap, and only their OKC facility does it, but if the data they tout is true, it is worth it. They claimed surface temp reductions in the neighborhood of 40-60% IIRC, and temps within 6-12" reduced by a similarly impressive percentage. I'm not seeing it listed on their company site anymore, but if you call they may refer you to the OKC shop for price quote. Cost me around $300 to get both mine done IIRC.

But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every principle of our socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without ever knowing how it happened.... I no longer need to run on the Socialist Party ticket because the Democrat Party has now adopted our platform." --Norman Thomas, 1944 Socialist Party Presidential Candidate "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." --Winston Churchill END THE FED ....learn why, in 42 minutes
